The CBC Broadcasting Centre is located in the Entertainment district of downtown Toronto, close to the iconic CN Tower and the Rogers Centre. It is the broadcasting headquarters for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. The Barbaa Frum Atrium was named in honour of one of Canada’s most celebrated and respected journalists. The atrium is approximately 10,000 square feet and extends 10 storeys high. It features a magnificent skylight and patterned terrazzo floor. The Barbara Frum Atrium can accommodate up to 1,000 guests for cocktail parties or dinners. The Glenn Gould Studio, was named after one of the best known Canadian pianists of the 20^th century. He was renowned as an interpreter of the keyboard music of Johann Sebastian Bach. Glenn Gould was one of the largest music writers with over 60 masterpieces, as well as a conductor and a broadcaster. It is only fitting that the CBC Broadcasting Centre should dedicate the studio in his name. The Glen Gould Studio is unique and perfect for performing organizations, classical and jazz recordings, but also has been rented for corporate events, business meetings, product launches, cocktail parties, press conferences and seminars. The studio can accommodate up to 341 in the theatre.The artists lounge is located on the rooftop, and provides a breathtaking view of Lake Ontario and downtown Toronto. The lounge is unique and perfect for a cocktail reception, an intimate sit down dinner or meetings. The lounge can accommodate up to 80 guests for a cocktail reception or 80 for a seated dinner.The Conference Centre includes a large meeting room approximately 1,500 square feet, with four smaller breakout rooms, and reception area. The contemporary design makes this a great choice for conferences, training seminars or corporate meetings. The main room can accommodate up to 150 guests depending on the layout required.
