Located in the Don Mills neighbourhood of Toronto, the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre is one of the largest and most vibrant Japanese cultural centres in the world. The building is approximately 114,000 square feet and was a former printing plant. It was redesigned by Kuwabara Payne McKenna Blumberg Architects creating both a modern and rooted Japanese style. The Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre is a non-profit organization which offers programs, services and a gathering place to celebrate Japanese and Japanese Canadian Culture. The centre is open to everyone regardless of race, religion, sex or age and attracts over 200,000 people to its events each year.The cultural centre offers a number of rental spaces and services, ideal for any event such as stage performances, fashion shows, corporate events, exhibitions, galas, trade shows, conferences and receptions.
