Located in the heart of the King Street theatre district, the Roy Thomson Hall opened its doors in 1982 as a concert hall and is a landmark of Toronto. Its rounded exterior design and its sloping glass roof, reflects the city by day and its luminosity by night. Roy Thomson Hall is the home of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, and principle venue for the gala screenings of the Toronto International Film Festival.

The theater accommodates over 2,600 and includes the backstage rooms, lounges and North and South Lobbies with the rental. Revived in 2002 by a $20 million acoustic enhancement project, which included unequaled enhanced sound and light capabilities, the Roy Thomson Hall is second to none in its industry. The Auditorium can accommodate up to 200 guests for a reception or 120 for a seated reception on stage.

With its gorgeous architectural design submersed with the natural light from the magnificent glass windows, this space creates an ideal setting for multifunctional events. With raised areas in both lobbies it is perfect for speakers, performers or product presentations. The North and South Lobbies can accommodate up to 1500 guests for a reception or 500 for a seated dinner.

The Pickering Room is ideal for intimate dinners, cocktail receptions or as a breakout room. It can accommodate up to 75 guests for a reception or 55 for a seated dinner. Adjoining doors allow the Pickering Room and the Green Room to be opened into one large venue space.

The Green Room is a warm and relaxed space suitable for small cocktail receptions, and can accommodate up to 50 guests for a reception or 30 for a seated dinner.

The North Court Patio mixes a relaxed outdoor space with the downtown buzz of excitement. The patio includes an upper and lower deck, situated next to a landscaped reflected pool. The patio features awnings that can be lowered in case of inclement weather, making this patio perfect for an outside relaxed venue space. It can accommodate up to 400 guests for a reception or 225 guests for a seated dinner.

Perfect for private meetings, luncheons or corporate seminars. The Studio can accommodate up to 130 guests for a reception or 84 for a seated dinner.

With its bright modern décor, this lounge is ideal for small receptions or meetings. It can accommodate up to 60 guests for a cocktail reception.
