Toronto Botanical Garden

Formerly known as the Toronto Civic Garden Centre founded in 1958 by the Garden club of Toronto. Called “The little garden with big ideas”, it has nearly four acres and features 17 themed gardens. Its mission is to connect people, plants and the natural world through education, inspiration and leadership. The newest and largest addition is the Woodland Walk with native trees, perennials, shrubs and a wildflower meadow representing the Carolinian forest and prairie savannah native to this region of Toronto.

Next is the striking Entry Garden, made up of perennials and ornamental grasses which greets visitors along the entrance to the garden walk. There are two water features completing the Arrival Courtyard and West View Terrace. This is truly a unique setting for any Toronto Botanical Garden Wedding, corporate party, fundraising event, and product launches.

The Floral Hall is the largest space available, featuring a 20ft ceiling boasting skylights that offer an expansive view of the skies. The interior is decorated with neutral walls with pale oak woodwork and dark tiled floors, serving as a blank canvas for any décor. The Floral Hall has its own private garden courtyard, which is accessible through double glass doors. Walls of glass, natural stone, fruit trees, fragrant shrubs and white flowering perennials sets the scene for romance and timeless memories. Whether you are planning a close and intimate gathering or a grand and lavish affair, Toronto Botanical Garden is truly a beautiful place. The Floral Hall can accommodate up to 350 guests for a cocktail reception, or 240 guests for a dinner reception, making this perfect for any Toronto Botanical Garden weddings!

This is the Toronto Botanical Gardens main entrance. It can accommodate up to 200 guests for a cocktail reception and you can combine it with the Westview Terrace which features a shallow water channel and waterfall and can accommodate up to 175 guests for the reception.

The Garden Hall opens to a sunken courtyard that serves as a natural amphitheatre that is linked to Westview Terrace by a stone bridge.

This will accommodate up to 32 guests seated in each or if all three studios are used it will accommodate up to 95 guests seated.
